1. Where we will (and won’t) work

We service vehicles only in safe, legal locations, such as:

• Residential driveways
• Approved workplace parking areas
• Other stable, private or permitted lots where we can work without blocking traffic

We do not service vehicles on:

• Highways, shoulders, or active roadways
• Hospital property or emergency zones
• Unstable, illegal, or high-traffic spots that put anyone at risk

If the location isn’t safe, the job may be refused or rescheduled.

2. Customer responsibilities before we arrive

To keep the job safe and efficient, please:

• Provide a clear, level work area around the vehicle
• Move items that block access to wheels or the undercarriage
• Have wheel-lock keys ready if your wheels use locking lug nuts
• Keep children and pets away from the work area
• Share any known vehicle issues (for example, weak jack points or prior damage)

3. On-site safety (technician standards)

Technicians follow basic field safety practices, including:

• Parking and positioning the vehicle only where it can be secured
• Using proper support and equipment for the job
• Wearing appropriate protective gear when needed
• Keeping the immediate work zone organized and free of trip hazards
• Stopping work if conditions become unsafe (weather, traffic, unstable ground, etc.)

4. Vehicle and job documentation

For quality and accountability:

• Jobs may include photos (vehicle, before/after) and notes
• Extra work is done only with customer approval
• Unsafe requests or unsafe conditions are not overridden to “just get it done”

5. Brakes and roadworthiness

Brake work is safety-critical. We focus on correct installation and clear communication about the job performed. If a vehicle is not safe to drive, that will be communicated plainly — safety is not optional.

6. Emergency and refusal policy

Pad-Slapper may decline or stop a job when:

• The location is a highway, hospital, or otherwise unsafe
• Required access, keys, or a workable area cannot be provided
• Continuing would risk injury, property damage, or public safety
